This pivotal role will provide the successful candidate with a great opportunity and contribute to the success of the Finance team and the overall business.

The successful Assistant Controller will: 

  • Handle accounts payable for suppliers.
  • Efficiently process high volumes of invoices and ensure accurate matching to purchase orders.
  • Prepare payment runs, including BACS and foreign currency payments.
  • Communicate with both internal and external stakeholders on invoice queries.
  • Comply with organisational and legal regulations.
  • Setup and administer the company wide supplier and subcontractor accounts.
  • Add and amend bank account details in accordance with company procedure.

To apply for this role, you should: 

  • Be numerate and have a working knowledge of basis bookkeeping principles.
  • Be IT literate.
  • Be a good communicator and excellent team player.
  • Have a working knowledge of VAT rules and other relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Although formal finance related qualifications are not necessary, team members will be encouraged to develop their knowledge and skill levels wherever possible.
